📪Staking

Staking allows you to earn CULT passively via auto-compounding. By staking your CULT, you receive sCULT (staked CULT) in return at a 1:1 ratio. After that, your sCULT balance will increase automatically on every epoch based on the current APY.

Staking $CULT

  1. Go to the Stake page of the Chimera website

  2. Enter the amount of CULT that you would like to stake in the input field. If you would like to stake all your CULT, press the "Max" button and the input field will be populated with all your available CULT balance.

  3. Click "Approve" to approve the transaction.

  4. Click "Stake" to proceed with the transaction.

Staking Warm-Up Period​

To protect Chimera against flash loan attacks wishing to unfairly game the staking mechanism, a warm-up period was introduced.

When you stake CULT to receive sCULT, you:

  1. Will earn rebases as normal for each epoch that occurs every ~8 hours.

  2. Will be able to claim sCULT(sCULT → CULT) after 2 rebases.

  3. Can claim your original CULT amount if wishing to unstake before 2 epochs, waiving the earned rebases.
